So it’s been awhile eh? I’ve actually been really busy. I finally have some friends to hang out with during the week, and plenty to do on the weekends. Lara and I have become afterwork buddies, so instead of sitting, bored on my comptuer all night, we are bored together in this wonderful little town of ours. Then I’ve met some new friends, Varuni and Valerie, whom I went to high school with, but never really knew until recently. The three of us went to Santa Barbara a few weekends ago and had a blast. I finally got to show of SB to some people. We went to the mountains, the beach, the mission, and downtown. It was a great day.
Every Thursday, we all go to Happy Hour at Friday’s. There’s usually about 10-15 of us there every week. I’ve always wanted a weekly ritual where we all can hang out, a la Patrick Earl and the LBC, Wednesday’s at Black Angus. It’s tough be beat $2 pints.
My job is still going great. I’m pretty sure I’m going to stick in the IT industry. I’m hoping I can stay at Forrest for a few months longer. I’ve already started getting ready to ask to stay on as a full time employee. If that fails, with a few months of experience behind me, I shouldn’t have too much trouble finding another IT job. Hopefully. If not, I’m always still on the substitute teacher list.
Anways, I need to get back to the latest Harry Potter. (Yeah.. I’m a huge dork. Remember this webserver is called Harry Potter). I’m about 3/4 done, and its getting really good. Until next time…
